Molding the young people of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, New Haven into leaders with a strong foundation in
Faith, Character and Service
St. Luke’s Youth Council (SLYC) was established in September of 2014. The council consists of around 10 active middle and high school students of St. Luke’s. The council has an Executive Board made up of the youth advisor, a President, Vice President, a youth Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a youth VP of Communications. The Executive Board has met the first week of every month and the council at large has met every 3rd Sunday. This group along with their advisor Danisha Collins plans, creates and ultimately executes fun social activities for St. Luke's youth throughout their term (September to June) and also creates and/or takes part in community projects and events.
