Prayer for a Time of Pandemic and Prayer List Requests
Prayer for a time of Pandemic
Adapted from A New Zealand Prayer Book God of the present moment, God who in Jesus stills the storm and soothes the frantic heart; bring hope and courage to us as we wait in uncertainty. Bring hope that you will make us the equal of whatever lies ahead. Bring us courage to endure what cannot be avoided, for your will is health and wholeness; you are God, and we need you. Amen. |
We will pray for you – On the St. Luke’s Prayer List
During these difficult days, please click button below for prayer form in order to let us know if we can pray for you. Please complete the form and we will pray for you during our Sunday service and the week ahead. All prayer requests are repeated for four weeks. You can ask us to pray for healing or in thanks for recovery; in celebration of a birthday or remembrance of someone who has died. If you wish, we will pray for you by name and intention during our Sunday worship service. Please contact our priest if you would like a Mass said in memory of someone who has died. A note that our Prayer Chain is being reconsidered. We will have a link here if it returns. |
